Teens charged with stealing motorcycle

Lawmen assigned to the Westmoreland Police Division have charged two teenagers with simple larceny following an incident at Barracks Road, Savanna-la-Mar in the parish on September 13.

According to reports, it is alleged that at 4:40 p.m., the teenagers went to a man's house and stole his 2016 Zamco motorcycle from his garage. The motorcycle is valued at approximately $260,000. The man later reported the matter to the police and an investigation was launched. Investigators subsequently arrested the teenagers during an operation.

Their court date is being finalised.
