Policeman shot dead at party in Manchester

A police constable attached to the Spaulding Police Station, Clarendon, was shot and killed while at a party in Cobbla district, Manchester, on Saturday night.

Dead is Constable Kirkland Plummer.

According to police reports, at approximately 10 pm,  on Saturday,  Plummer disarmed a man who reportedly discharged an illegal firearm at the party.

In the process, the constable was allegedly shot and killed by the man’s cronies.

One firearm has so far been seized.

It is yet to be determined if Plummer was a patron at the party, in breach of the 9pm curfew, or if he was there on active police duty.

The police are now on the hunt for the killers as investigations continue.
