Edwin Allen crowned Ben Francis Cup champions

Edwin Allen High School are the 2021 ISSA Ben Francis Cup champions.

The Frankfield, Clarendon-based school took the title with a come-from-behind 3-2 win over hosts St Elizabeth Technical High School at the STETHS Sports Complex in Santa Cruz on Friday afternoon.

Jahiem Harris, with two goals, and Alwayen Bryan were the scorers for Edwin Allen while Negus Daley and Michael Jerman were STETHS' scorers.

Head coach Tafari Burton describes winning the school's first Ben Francis title as feeling like "true love".

"When you win, it's like true love," Burton told STAR Sports after the game. "If this is how true love feels, I always wanna win, trust me."
