Several persons injured in vehicle collision near Grand Palladium Hotel

Six persons, including a female high school student, were seriously injured following a motor vehicle collision along the Point main road in Lucea, Hanover on Tuesday.

It is reported that the collision occurred about 10:00 a.m. near the entrance of the Grand Palladium Resort in the parish.

It is further reported that both vehicles were travelling in opposite direction, when they collided.

The Lucea Police, and the fire department were summoned and the victims were rushed to the Noel Holmes Hospital where they were treated and admitted in serious condition.
