Stadium East reopens

The Stadium East field has now been reopened after being closed for a major police operation.

Over four days, the Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) found 10 firearms including high-powered weapons buried at the east field.  

Several rounds of ammunition were also unearthed.

The operation involved several crime fighting units including the: Counter-Terrorism and Organised Crime Investigation Branch, the Specialised Operations Branch and the Canine Division, and members of the Jamaica Defence Force.
