New flask for White Overproof Rum

J Wray and Nephew Limited has redesigned the flask bottle for its White Overproof Rum.

Marsha Lumley, marketing director, J Wray & Nephew Limited, said the move is "A carefully thoughtout plan considering the global shift in producing products in a more environmentally friendly manner".

She said that the new flask bottle uses less glass and also reduces the wastage on the production line, and "Therefore, the transition was expedited to assist with reducing our carbon footprint".

Lumley believes consumers will love the new look and feel of the product.

"Consumers will see the old and new flasks in outlets for a time and may be wondering if there is a difference in the rum. There is no difference, the new flask contains the same Wray and Nephew White Overproof Rum, same quantity, same price," Lumley said.
