Gunmen go on rampage in Ackee Walk

At least three persons were shot and killed last night, and others injured during a shooting in the Ackee Walk community, in the vicinity of Queensborough Gardens, St Andrew.

As the news of the incident broke, there was speculation that four persons had been killed.

Residents say that about 8:15 p.m., an unknown number of men in a vehicle went around shooting up different spots in the community.

One alleged witness said that the barrage lasted for up to a minute. Another resident said that as many as 13 persons were hit by the gunmen.

Up to press time, the identities of the deceased were unknown.
